Water Damage, Restoration and High Spec Upgrade Chelmsford
Colwins were appointed by the client to repair and improve the property after sizeable water damage due to a burst water pipe. Our design meetings with the client allowed us to finalise the full re-design and all specifications before our team commenced work carrying out the entire restoration and refurb of the single storey property. Our electric team completed a full rewire through out introducing a feature lounge with surface mounted, galvanised conduit. A new central heating system was designed and fitted inclusive of polished, surface mounted pipe work and bespoke radiators made from copper pipe hence materialising the contemporary, industrial feel surrounding our original design concept. All lighting within the living spaces was handmade using coloured corded flex and galvanised fittings. New bathroom, kitchen and utility suites were fitted including sealed natural stone paving slabs and sealed bespoke OSB board, again helping to create the industrial-inspired, modernised direction of the initial design envisioned within our design meetings.
