Retaining Wall Kent
Colwin Group were appointed to design and install a new retaining wall to replace the existing wall which had collapsed following a landslip. Access to the lower ground was restricted and therefore a temporary access ramp was created with imported materials to provide access. A new retaining wall was designed using the Stepoc block system and constructed in hit and miss sequence to reduce the risk of further collapse. The retaining wall was then clad with facing brickwork for aesthetics. All works are covered by our 12 year insurance backed guarantee.
