Garage Demolition and Rebuild for Tendering Council Dovercourt
Colwins were appointed on a Council contract for the demolition and rebuild of an old garage site.
The existing garage site was crumbling, overgrown and very old and drastically needed replacement. Colwin Group managed the project from start to finish from full clearance of the site to the very final stages. By utilising the full space within the land boundaries Colwins were able to expand the size of each garage and improve their functionality in the process. Works included full site clearance including overgrowth removal, demolition of all existing buildings, installation of new, reinforced raft foundations, connection of drainage to existing systems, concrete work, brickwork including new external and internal walls, fitting of new up and over doors and roofing installation designed with new fibre glass system as specified by the council. We also installed new perimeter fencing to secure the site and clearly mark land boundaries.
